  A Possible Reason Why Some Want To Be Jehovah's Witnesses

  i think some want to be witnesses even if they know some of the teachings and views are questionable because they feel special!.

  if they get a "privilege" or are allowed to pioneer or allowed to preach from house to house and be "ministers", they feel like they are somebody.. what do you think?

  I think the reasons are varied. My father wanted to prove them wrong when he failed, I think the strictness of the organization appealed to him. He became very zealous and raised us as good witnesses.

  I have found in talking to elders and others over the last 15 years that although I felt I had little knowledge most have less. I have also recently spoken with two sisters who both stated it was the brotherhood, the friendships that kept them.

  One old brother in his 90's is sure armageddon is imminent and continually tells my relative how she needs to return to the congregation.

  Some I am sure feel important by their preaching and or positions in the congregation. I felt happy I had the "truth" but never felt important rather stupid in fact. I always thought I knew nothing which is probably true.

  Ray Franz Was Wrong

  god rest his soul.

  although i never met him personally, he and i did correspond a number of times, and i have numerous friends who have not only met him, but stayed several days with he and cynthia at their home.

  if nothing else, ray was kind, non-judging, and generous.

  to discard your whole way of thinking as easily as you might throw away old runners !!!

  Surely you need to prove what reality is and that it is the same for all of us. Isn't your reality just in your head? If your reality is in your head then your thoughts of God are just as real as anything else maybe more real unless you can be sure you are the creator of your thought process and it wasn't given to you by a higher power. So to believe in God is the start of all reason. No?

  ok last night we played with the ouija board, i am posting a link to a video of what happened so you dont get offended.

  only open if you are willing to accept the consequences.. when my gf went to buy the board many people warned her about it, even the cashier shake the head and told her that she would never bring that game into her house.. so we played, we invoked the spirits, we even called god.

  You don't want a supernatural experience as much as you think you might. You need to think once you are connected how your going to get rid of them.
